If I wanted to be a kindergarten math teacher, why do I have to go to college and get really good grades in calculus? I'm not going to be coming close to that kind of math in the grade I want to teach. I could drop out of high school and have the education I need to be a kindergarten teacher. Not that I would do that I'm just proving a proving a point on how smart you don't need to be to be a kindergarten teacher. All I pretty much need to teach is the alphabet and what two plus two is, which of course is four. I am definitely qualified to do that.
