I thought it was amazing. This little man is created by this nice man. The gingerbread man decides that he doesn't want to be eaten and runs away. It kind of makes sense. It is cruel to make a cookie shaped like a person just so you can eat it. It almost worries me that my children might take that into consideration and not eat the cookies. It is too bad that I love gingerbread cookies too much to ever stop eating them. At least in the end of the gingerbread story I read as a child the family doesn't end up eating him but rather makes a special home for him to live in.
