I have yet to meet a child that didn’t absolutely love them. Don’t get me wrong, they’re not horrible but I don’t think I could eat them every day like my nieces and nephews like to. I guess I shouldn’t complain because they make a very cheap lunch. You’d be very surprised at how far a loaf of bread and a jar of peanut butter and jelly can go. They’re really not that unhealthy either. The peanut butter has protein, and if you get preserves then you’ve got your serving of fruit, and if you put it on whole wheat bread then you have fiber and healthy carbs. But who wants to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with whole wheat bread? Yuck! You can pretty much only use while bread for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. Speaking of which, it’s lunch time and guess what my nieces and nephews are begging me to make them?
