We saw a gorgeous condo on our way home yesterday that ignited my home buying urge. The price of the two bedroom was just right (the more appropriate term is yeah right) at $800,000 so one of the things I told my wife was that maybe we shouldn’t be wandering in whenever we see open houses since it will just “up our standards” and we will never like the houses that we can afford.
Talking about this reminds me of people who put up paintings (or wallpapers on their computers) of something they really want. The reasoning they claim is to motivate them but most of those things are more like a dream than something achievable in reality. In your opinion, do you think it’s better to dream big or think and appreciate what you already have? Can you do both? Vote away!
